The difference between lotion and solution

Oil-in-water Emulsion (O/W)

First of all, by definition, emulsion is a mixture of two or more non-soluble liquids dispersed, belonging to a heterogeneous system. The solution has a high degree of uniformity and stability, and its dispersed particle diameter is less than 1nm, which can maintain a uniform and stable state for a long time.

For example, skin care lotions can maintain the balance of skin moisture, replenish oily ingredients and moisture, and achieve the purpose of toning and nourishing the skin. The solution is widely used in chemistry, biology, medicine and other fields, such as reagents in the laboratory, pharmaceutical preparations and so on.
