Special silicone is mainly divided into the following types according to usage requirements:
1. Antistatic silicone: The surface resistance of antistatic silicone can reach 10 to the 5th to 9th power Ω, with excellent antistatic performance. It is widely used in the manufacture of suction cups, rubber rollers, buttons, sealing rings, mobile phone jackets, wrist straps, game controllers, electronic device trays, keyboard protective films, mining instrument housing protective covers, miscellaneous parts and other antistatic silicone products. Antistatic silicone also has multifunctional models with flame retardancy, high and low temperature resistance, high resilience, foaming, etc. to meet the special needs of more customers.
2. High temperature resistant silicone High temperature resistant silicone is mainly customized for products operating under high temperature conditions. It is mainly divided into two categories: 300℃ and 350℃ resistant. It can be used for a long time under high temperature conditions without deformation, anti-aging, and good rebound performance. It is used to manufacture suction cups, electronic device trays, miscellaneous parts, pipes, oven sealing strips, high temperature resistant protective covers and other high temperature resistant silicone products.
3. High temperature resistant flame retardant silicone has high temperature resistance of 250℃ and fire retardant performance reaching the US UL-94V0 grade. It provides an optional solution for products with strict safety requirements.
4. Fireproof foamed silicone: It is a fireproof foamed silicone with a foaming ratio of up to 300%. After vulcanization, it becomes a soft elastic material with a foaming volume three times the original. It can be used to make flexible silicone rubber products such as human models, insoles, shoulder pads, patches, anti-slip mats, etc. It can also be used to manufacture various wire and cable sheaths, hoses, flame-retardant foamed silicone strips, and all extruded or calendered flame-retardant and fireproof foamed silicone products.
5. Low temperature resistant silicone: Low temperature resistant silicone is designed for products that can maintain normal operation under extremely cold conditions. Its performance can reach -70℃ and can maintain long-term operation. It has high tear strength, good resilience, is not easy to yellow, and has a good feel. This product can be molded and extruded, and can also be used to make silicone products such as suction cups, electronic device trays, miscellaneous parts, pipes, cold storage room sealing strips, ultra-low temperature protective sleeves, etc.
6. Conductive silicone: Conductive silicone is widely used in many fields such as electronic appliances, mobile communications, health care, and air transportation. The difference is that the insulation properties of ordinary silicone are modified into special silicone with conductive or even superconductive functions. The surface resistivity of conductive silicone is 0.5~2000Ω*cm and can be customized. It is widely used in various zebra strips, conductive black particles, mobile phone and notebook conductive pens, and the manufacture of responsive capacitive screen mobile phone pen tips, shielding materials, conductive watch straps, conductive silicone sheets, conductive silicone pads, etc.
7. Liquid silicone: Special liquid silicone mainly includes two categories: flame retardant foaming type and mold silicone. Mold silicone also has the excellent property of high temperature resistance of 350°C. It is mainly used to make food molds, such as candy molds and cake molds; metal crafts, precision mold production, toys, alloy vehicles, large cement components, sandstone sculptures, gypsum product production molds, rubber plates, rubber wheels, etc. or for special purposes.
8. Oil-resistant silicone: Oil-resistant silicone is specially developed to be resistant to olive oil, safflower oil, cleansing oil, motor oil, grease, mineral oil, fuel oil, ASTM test oil, brake fluid and other oils. It is widely used in sealing plugs, kitchen utensils, mobile phone keys, work gloves, oil-resistant jackets, miscellaneous parts and other oil-resistant products. It also has the characteristics of heat radiation resistance, cold resistance, acid and alkali resistance, corrosive gas resistance, and waterproofness.
9. Oil-release self-lubricating silicone: Products made of oil-release silicone can continuously seep oil during use to achieve the special property of self-lubrication, making the product's sealing performance higher and service life longer. At the same time, it has excellent functions such as dustproof and anti-sticking. It is widely used in the manufacture of seals, pump plugs, hydraulic plugs, miscellaneous parts and other lubricating silicone products.
