Solid silicone rubber (SR): mostly used in industrial seals, automotive parts, kitchen utensils, etc. due to its good mechanical properties and high temperature resistance.
4. Performance characteristics
Liquid silicone rubber (LSR): has excellent fluidity, high transparency, good biocompatibility and chemical resistance, suitable for manufacturing high-precision and high-transparency products.
Solid silicone rubber (SR): has high mechanical strength, good wear resistance and high temperature resistance, suitable for manufacturing products requiring high strength and durability.
5. Cost and production efficiency
Liquid silicone rubber (LSR): has high initial equipment and mold costs, but high production efficiency, suitable for mass production.
Solid silicone rubber (SR): has low equipment and mold costs, but relatively low production efficiency, suitable for small or medium-scale production.
