From April 23rd to 25th, 2025, the "2025 (26th) Organosilicon Fine Chemicals Technology Exchange Conference" was successfully held at the Hangzhou Binjiang Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel. This conference was hosted by Beijing Guohua New Materials Technology Research Institute. As one of the supporting activities of the "2025 Asia Silicon Industry Technology Conference and Exhibition", it attracted many industry experts and enterprise representatives to participate.
The conference focused on multiple cutting-edge fields of organosilicon fine chemical products and set up hot sub-forums such as organosilicon for medical and health care, organosilicon materials for photovoltaic, organosilicon for new energy vehicles, silicone resins/pressure-sensitive adhesives/release agents, organosilicon polymers and high-molecular 3D printing, building waterproofing/stone surface treatment, etc. At the main forum, experts and scholars from the China Fluorosilicone Organic Materials Industry Association, Morgan Stanley, McMaster University and other institutions, as well as enterprise representatives, delivered wonderful speeches on topics such as the technological development trends and market application prospects of silicone materials.
In the sub-forums, experts from various fields shared their latest research achievements and application cases. For instance, at the sub-forum on silicone for medical and health use, experts from institutions such as Peking Union Medical College Hospital and Shandong Institute of Medical Devices introduced the research and development progress of silicone materials for medical plastic surgery and medical silicone rubber products. At the sub-forum on organosilicon for new energy vehicles, representatives from Guangzhou Automobile Co., LTD., Wacker Chemie (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and other enterprises discussed the current application status and trends of organosilicon materials in the three-electricity systems and power batteries of new energy vehicles.
Mr. Qiu, the technical director of our company, shared at this meeting the application and molding process of liquid silicone rubber in the medical field. It has been widely recognized and affirmed by the majority of peers.
